The marketing and sales coordinator is an integral part of the marketing and sales team. He develops and executes marketing plans and provides daily sales and marketing support to help us achieve our business goals. This position will create and implement effective marketing programs for customers and consumers, and assist with many other administrative components of a dynamic and growing sales and marketing team. This position reports to the Marketing Director under the functional supervision of Mission & Customer Manager.
Marketing program support
- Conduct market research to inform both consumer and customer-centric marketing programs.
- Develop ideas for marketing campaigns, communications, and programs that will help you get the business results you want.
- Use digital tools effectively to support efficient and effective marketing efforts.
- Support in the execution of inbound and outbound marketing programs, proof of expertise in the creation of content, analysis of the success and implementation of multi-faceted projects.
- Support with the analysis of marketing data and the evaluation of the success of a campaign or a program.
- Liaise with outside parties, including consumers and customers, to represent the brand and improve the brand’s reputation.
- Generate B2B marketing materials, including presentations for customers, sales sheets, and assets necessary to sell to customers.
Administrative sales support
- Answer, coordinate and disseminate incoming inquiries and messages for the sales / marketing team, including sample and material inquiries.
- Coordinate, package and ship samples and marketing materials as needed. Includes packing products and materials in the warehouse or in a cooler environment. Communicate internally and externally through fulfillment.
- Fill out customer forms, including new item forms and new customer settings.
- Answer communication and customer management requests for home sales accounts.
- Respond to customer inquiries including providing pictures / technical sheets and COIs.
- Research and create promotional concepts in-store in collaboration with customer marketing teams.
- Track the demo budget and approve demo invoices.
- Coordinate sales and marketing meetings and events, including planning and execution. Includes various travel assistance and coordination such as booking blocks of rooms and meeting rooms, etc.
Administrative marketing support
- Coordinate the packaging design workflow to support new product development with internal and external partners.
- Monitor and respond to consumer inquiries and social media on behalf of the brand.
- Provide support for digital assets and websites, including content uploading and formatting, and the merchandising website.
- Coordinate the execution of Vermont, regional and national events / shows, including all planning, budget management and logistics. Includes packing products and materials in the warehouse or in a cooler environment.
- Coordinate the conduct of all product price competitions, including budget management, entry, product selection and shipping.
- Providing direct support to the consumer trade with consumer-facing programs and communications.
- Assistance with marketing budget, including issuing orders, processing invoices, and credit card reconciliation.
- Coordinate and manage the visitor experience in Creamery / Farm with the support of internal / external resources.
- Coordinate and track the fulfillment of product donations.
- Demo, event and marketing accessories for inventory and ordering.
- Support fulfillment, customer service and logistics.
- Support internal communication via posters, tent cards and monitors.
- Other tasks as assigned.
EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE:
Required:
- High school education or GED digital competence with strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint.
- Digital language proficiency and ability to learn new software programs.
- Strong organizational and problem solving skills.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic office environment.
- Team player with the ability to work together in a small, fast-paced team environment.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to serve as a brand ambassador.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to be agile and balance multiple unrelated tasks at the same time.
- Ability to calculate numbers and amounts such as discounts, interest, shares, percentages, weights and measures.
Desired:
- 4 year college BA / BS degree or associates degree and relevant work experience.
- Passion for artisanal food, cooking, sustainability practices and regenerative agriculture.
- 3-5 years experience in progressively responsible marketing or related roles.
