What do you think are the biggest keys to your recovery and growth as you emerge from the Australian lockdowns?
“We stayed in contact with our customers and stayed consistent. Years of business activity and a broad customer base also contributed to the recovery. Our Facebook presence has also increased. “
What are the sought-after products and services that your customers order and find valuable for their reopening and recovery?
“Our sought-after products are calendars, short-term books and point-of-sale materials, which include all kinds of custom prints we can produce to help businesses reopen, promote themselves.”
What are the top selling points for printing right now?
“Because of the pandemic, people are looking for different ways to market their businesses and they have had time to do the things that they have put off. The staples of our industry have also returned as we’ve seen orders for business cards, compliment notes, and notepads (general stationery). “
What was the reaction of the community to the contact?
“The answer was that we’re all there together. Strategies are no different and the key is keeping in touch with your current customers.
When we got out, I used Minuteman Press International’s direct marketing strategies, which have proven effective. I have visited every cafe, bar and restaurant near me. I always asked about them and their business and whether they do anything else. It also helped put the transaction in the background of the conversation. “
What is your current advice to other local businesses that come to you for help and guidance?
“As always, if they ask, discuss marketing and provide options. Suggest a good offer, a strong call to action, and a way to pursue success. Most importantly, you keep in touch with your customers. “
