Adopting innovative social media content for marketing is critical to ensuring that businesses stay afloat during the COVID-19 period.
This was the focus of the first Social Media Masterclass program initiated by Investment Fiji in collaboration with Pacific Trade Invest (PTI) Australia and in which around 340 companies from different sectors participated.
Kamal Chetty, investment and trade manager, said the program is designed to help local businesses improve their marketing brand and increase sales.

“We had an expert helping out in social media marketing, and we got a lot of interest from Fiji that around 340 people attended. It was a successful course and I am sure that in the future we will support many exporters and also many companies in Fiji. ”
He adds that business has changed over the past few months.
The training was virtual and Investment Fiji plans to hold more sessions over the next few weeks.
