DNO Produce Inc., a leading fresh produce wholesaler and processor in central Ohio, has hired Melissa Rogner as its director of marketing.
Developing and increasing brand awareness for great companies has been Rogner’s passion for over 20 years. She began her marketing career with Panera Bread’s second largest franchise, where she was instrumental in the explosive growth of Panera Bread’s reach and brand awareness in the Midwest.
Rogner was also instrumental in launching an emerging fast-casual restaurant concept called Garbanazo Mediterranean. Most recently, she supported the growth of the wholesale business for ten years as Vice President Marketing for the coffee roaster Crimson Cup Coffee & Tea.
Rogner will bring her knowledge of direct sales support, customer insights, content marketing, search engine marketing, social media, community relationships and engagement strategies to grow the DNO / Freshealth brand. Freshealth Kids freshly cut, portioned fruits and vegetables used for K-12 school feeding programs will be a core business that it will focus on in 2021 and beyond.
