Cherry Eromosele, Group Chief Marketing and Communications Officer of the Interswitch Group, was named one of the world’s top 100 B2B marketing leaders for technology in the latest annual list of the global business leadership community HotTopics.HT in 2021.
HotTopics.HT rewards people who are pioneers in using new technology to drive innovation within the marketing function. It also recognizes ambassadors for the B2B marketing community inside and outside their own organizations, as well as those who have shown empathy and transformative leadership during these extraordinary times.
The international platform announced its list of the top 100 global B2B marketing directors in technology in 2021, recognizing leading marketers in global markets operating in technology based on a selection made by an international jury of marketing directors including Lisa Gilbert, Chief Marketing Officer Officer and GM of IBM Marketing Services, Mehul Kapadia, Global Marketing Director at Vodafone Business, and Matt Preschern, Chief Marketing, Global CMO at Forcepoint. Interestingly, only two women of African descent were on the global list. They are Cherry Eromosele from Interswitch Group in Nigeria and Bernice Samuels from South Africa, Group Executive and Chief Marketing Officer at MTN.
At the nomination, Cherry expressed her joy and thanks to the organizers for the special recognition and stated that this will further spur them on to continue to deliver excellent marketing leadership and to continue to break new ground in the exciting field of fintech marketing. She continues to build on the work she has done at Interswitch over the past seven years.
