Advertising and Marketing Assistant: The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of direct experience supporting a marketing or advertising team in a publishing environment. This position reports to the Senior Manager of Marketing and Publicity and is responsible for supporting the Marketing and Publicity Specialist, Marketing & Publicity Associate, Freelance Advertising Consultant, creating and distributing advertising reports and special projects such as Christmas gift guides, award ceremonies, events, Trade fair and festival submissions as well as assigned influencer and title campaigns.

Advertising and Marketing Employees: We are looking for candidates with a focus on lifestyle, cooking, wellness and nature / photography to implement advertising and marketing strategies that drive pre-orders and sales of assigned titles. The ideal candidate will have 3 years of direct experience and a proven track record as a publicist. Publishing experience desirable. You have built strong working relationships with writers, journalists, fan sites, bloggers / influencers and other media representatives. In this role, you will formulate and carry out pitches and implement targeted marketing campaigns for authors and their books. You can demonstrate a passion for any of the following areas: lifestyle, cooking, wellness, and nature / photography. This position includes formulating the hook, writing and distributing press releases and pitches, requesting review copies to be sent, maintaining relationships, recruiting partners for content revelations, distributing social media content, submitting titles to Auditing of awards and ratings, tracking and tracking up Public relations is assured, recording and tracking of reporting and communication with management, internal stakeholders and partners.

Advertising and Marketing Specialist: We’re looking for candidates with a focus on entertainment, gaming, film, music and television to develop and implement advertising and marketing strategies that drive pre-orders and sales of assigned titles. The ideal candidate has 5 years of direct experience and a proven track record as a book publicist. You have built strong working relationships with writers, journalists, fan sites, bloggers / influencers and other media representatives. In this role, you will formulate and carry out pitches and implement targeted marketing campaigns for authors and their books. This position includes formulating the hook, writing and distributing press releases and pitches, requesting review copies to be sent, maintaining relationships, recruiting partners for content revelations, distributing social media content, submitting titles to Auditing of awards and ratings, tracking and tracking up Public relations is assured, recording and tracking of reporting and communication with management, internal stakeholders and partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Research of media and influencers for assigned projects and titles
  • Check influencers, media and bloggers for reach and impact
  • Set up press kits on DropBox
  • Prepare author questionnaires
  • Manage trade review submissions
  • Create and distribute bi-weekly promotional updates
  • Create and run marketing and promotional campaigns for assigned titles
  • Manage review copies and promotional mailings
  • Keep a second eye on email, press releases, and other assets
  • Monitor advertising coverage
  • Prepare campaigns in MailChimp
  • Track influencer campaigns
  • Provision of general administrative support, including the management of incoming e-mail / telephone advertising inquiries, HARO options, ordering of shipping material, coordination and implementation of galley and finished book mailings, creation and moderation of online meetings, notes in meetings, etc.

Requirement:

  • 1-2 + years of relevant experience in supporting an advertising or marketing team, preferably at a publisher.
  • Bachelor’s degree in public relations, English, communications, economics or any other relevant field or comparable experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of the Google Drive Suite, Cision, or similar media contact management services.
  • Very detail-oriented. Ability to multitask and solve problems. Can prioritize work and resources across multiple projects. Excellent project management skills. Date-oriented.

  • Request assets from creative and video production teams for use in advertising, A + content, and social media campaigns.
  • Work with the social media team to create a content calendar
  • If it is safe to do so after the COVID-19 illness, arrange public appearances for writers, e.g. B. Book signing and arrange speeches.

Qualifications:
