The Manila Times spoke to Milo Sandig, CEO of Digitalinnov, about the basics of its cutting-edge digital marketing solutions.
The Manila Times (TMT): What about your unique company name?
Milo Sandig (MS): Our name is a combination of two keywords, namely “digital” and “innovation”. By calling ourselves that, we believe we have taken the art of marketing beyond traditional approaches by strategically targeting solutions in the best interests of our clients’ audiences.
The services we offer at Digitalinnov include YouTube optimization, digital branding, social media marketing and penetration testing. We have a who’s who of major brands in the market including BMW, RCBC, Isuzu, Fujifilm, the Philippine Sports Commission and Mapua University.
I would add that there has been an influx of customers and inquiries as everyone truly sees that having a good digital footprint is a necessity for their business to survive this pandemic.
TMT: Your successful run must go beyond the intelligent play on words. Please tell us about it.
MS: A key element is our early decision to position Digitalinnov as a one-stop-shop for our customers’ myriad digital needs for graphic design content, website development and user interface design. To support this vision, we are fortunate to have a strong team of SEO (search engine optimization) experts, social media experts, seasoned content writers, talented graphic designers and trusted digital marketing strategists.
We are also open to solving modern marketing problems. It has enabled us to shine when companies are looking for reputable graphics houses to cater to their digital needs. Make no mistake, we effectively manage the transition of small and large customers from a brick-and-mortar store to an outstanding digital presence.
TMT: Where do you get this insight from in order to innovate in a strictly regulated marketing area?
MS: For one thing, I am blessed to have traveled the world, especially in the so-called First World countries. In 2015 I worked as a freelance for multinational advertising companies and three years later I completed postgraduate studies in digital marketing at Oxford University. Last year I completed an amazing online course in digital strategies from Yale University. I think the combination of real-world experience and advanced learning in academia put me in this innovation-driven mindset.
TMT: That makes you a figurehead for the upcoming transformation of the Philippine economy!
MS: Thank you, but let me say that I am proud of every Filipino’s potential in the field of digitization. You see, the Philippines has a great future when it comes to digital media.
We have been hailed as one of the world’s highest users of social media. When I went to tech giants in Silicon Valley, I was proud to see that Filipinos are doing well. It’s our Kababayans who run the show if you even check out tech companies in Singapore, Hong Kong, Europe and the US.
We have the right people to position our country as one of the world’s technical powerhouses. All it takes is a strong corporate ecosystem that works hand in hand.
