Users of SEMrush, an all-in-one marketing toolkit, now have access to two new features that improve local SEO management. The listing management tool, available as part of the premium service, makes it easier for companies to improve visibility, track reviews, and attract new customers.
Companies using listing management will find that distributing business data is much easier because companies can automatically share information with more than 80 corporate directories in the US and 40+ in other countries. Within Listing Management, companies can edit all their information from one place and automatically distribute it to important search platforms such as Amazon Alexa, Google and Bing. The information is also ready for voice search.
Based on customer feedback, using listing management can dramatically cut the time it takes digital marketing agencies to reach their customers. In just two months, healthcare-focused digital marketers used WebServ SEMrush to improve their customers’ Google My Business (GMB) list for discovery searches by 34 percent.
New and improved
The biggest additions to the listing management tool are two new additions. The first, Review Management, offers companies the ability to respond directly to reviews from GMB or Facebook without leaving the platform.
The second, a local ranking heat map, enables companies to track up to five keywords on a hyperlocal scale and use Google Maps to gain a better understanding of their local competitors. The heat map provides a scanning radius that businesses can use to determine whether they want to track on a smaller or larger scale.
Companies can easily get carried away as they expand and neglect their local customers in order to achieve rapid growth. SEMrush’s new features are a reminder that local success can still benefit from a detailed SEO strategy.
