New hires include: Kiara Kempski, Vice President of Global Consumer Marketing; Sofia Serra, Vice President, Global Product and Lifecycle Marketing; Caryne Say, vice president of B2B marketing; and Stephanie Whitacre, vice president of merchandising eCommerce.

Kiara Kempski, Vice President of Global Consumer Marketing oversees consumer marketing efforts across The Knot Worldwide’s global portfolio of wedding brands, including The Knot, WeddingWire US, Bodas across Europe and Latam, Hitched in the UK and WeddingWire India. Kiara brings a rare background of marketing analytics and measurement experience with award-winning brand storytelling to The Knot Worldwide. She joins The Knot Worldwide from Ancestry where she was Head of Global Programming and Brand Media. During her eight years there, she oversaw content and media strategy, including investments and measurements, for Ancestry’s largest growth channels. In this role, she developed a global branded content engine that led to a Cannes Lion victory, numerous Effies, Webbies and, above all, an Emmy-nominated TV series. Her work helped shape the Family History and DNA category and Ancestry’s multi-billion dollar subscription business valuation. In her last two years at Ancestry, Kiara also led the company’s holistic strategy and initiatives on diversity, equity and inclusion.
Sofia Serra, Vice President of Global Product and Lifecycle Marketing, leads the rollout and lifecycle strategy for the company’s entire portfolio of global wedding brands. Sofia’s experience includes building and expanding product and marketing capabilities for tech startups in the fields of mental wellbeing and food delivery. Sofia was previously Global Head of Product Marketing at Facebook, responsible for the complete inbound and go-to-market strategy for a portfolio of media products. Sofia also spent more than 11 years with McKinsey & Company, focusing on serving global consumer, entertainment and technology leaders on a variety of marketing topics – including product portfolio strategy and management, acquisition and lifecycle marketing, branding strategy, and revenue management and pricing. She also drove agile product development and agile marketing measures at McKinsey Digital Labs and was a lecturer at McKinsey Academy and Experience Studios. Sofia is currently an advisor to the Product Marketing Alliance and the Faculty at the General Assembly. She is also a board advisor for journalism and performing arts organizations worldwide.
Caryne Say, Vice President of B2B Marketing, leads B2B sales growth and oversees brand and demand generation efforts that are helping drive new business in the largest wedding supplier marketplaces in The Knot and WeddingWire. As a leading B2B sales-driven marketing company, Caryne has spent more than 15 years defining the strategic vision to drive demand generation, content marketing, branding, digital marketing, go-to-market development and accelerating new business growth for fast-growing tech companies from Silicon Valley to New York City, including LivePerson, Grovo, Breather and, more recently, Cedar. Recognized both locally and globally for her knowledge of revenue-driven marketing, Caryne is regularly invited to share her expertise with audiences in the tech industry around the world.
