Verint, a provider of customer loyalty software, has acquired Conversocial for $ 50 million. Verint’s support for digital customer loyalty will be reinforced during the acquisition through connections to messaging channels such as Apple Business Chat, Facebook Messenger, Twitter and WhatsApp.

NICE takes over GoMoxie
NICE, a provider of digital customer experience software, has announced the acquisition of GoMoxie, a provider of digital assistance tools. With the addition of GoMoxie, NICE is expanding beyond the contact center into intelligent conversational self-service.
This move further expands NICE’s digital CX assets, including CXone Expert, an AI-powered knowledge management solution for digital self-service, CXone SmartReach, a conversational AI solution, and CXone Omnichannel Routing, which supports experiences across 35 digital channels. All are offered as part of CXone, a digital customer loyalty platform powered by Enlighten AI, NICE’s self-learning AI engine.

Salesforce announced Salesforce +, a streaming service with live and on-demand content. Salesforce + includes live experiences, original series, podcasts, and other programs. Salesforce representatives say it will inspire users of its software to learn new skills, pursue new career opportunities, and “drive change in the world.”
“Just as brands like Disney, Netflix and Peloton have done with consumer streaming services, Salesforce + provides an ongoing business media platform that builds trusting relationships with customers and a sense of belonging for the business world,” said Sarah Franklin, president and chief Salesforce’s marketing officer said in a statement.
The current Salesforce + product range offers the following features:
- Leading Through Change was launched in March 2020 as a weekly program that focuses on how business leaders have dealt with the global pandemic.
- “Connections” presents marketing specialists from companies such as IBM, Levi’s and GoFundMe.
- “The Inflection Point” with CEOs from brands like Coca-Cola, PayPal, Honeywell and Workday, who tell how their personal background stories, professional influences and values influence their leadership.
Salesforce + will be available to a global audience when Dreamforce launches in September.
Influitive publishes multilingual functions
Influitive Corporation, which provides customer service, community and engagement software, has announced the full release of its multilingual features. Organizations can provide customer-centric touchpoints in the language that best suits a company’s global audience, from the invitation email and login page to the homepage, content and rewards.

Shutterstock announced an API integration with OpenText. The integration gives Shutterstock Enterprise and OpenText customers direct access to over 380 million Shutterstock images through OpenText Media Management. OpenText Media Management is a digital asset management (DAM) solution for brands and publishers.
Aprimo adds DAM functionality
Aprimo, a provider of digital asset management and work management solutions, has announced the addition of Content Return on Effort (ROE) to its SaaS content operations platform. Content ROE shows the performance of assets across campaigns in the context of efforts to create and distribute them.
Content return on effort gives content and creative teams a more complete picture of performance than ROI alone, according to Aprimo officials. The content return on effort is calculated for assets that are stored in Aprimo Digital Asset Management and that natively capture impressions that can be analyzed and displayed by source, medium or other tracking parameters.
LogMeIn Appoints Bill Robinson as Chief Revenue Officer
LogMeIn, a provider of cloud-based SaaS solutions such as GoToConnect, GoToMeeting, LastPass and Rescue, has appointed software sales veteran Bill Robinson to his newly created role of Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). At LogMeIn, Robinson will lead global sales, customer experience and business operations.
Bill joins LogMeIn from the Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) company NICE, where he served as Executive Vice President of Sales. This included a strategic alliance with the Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) product from LogMeIn GoToConnect.
